BLIND GUARDIAN Begin Rehearsing For European Tour
January 21, 2002BLIND GUARDIAN rhythm guitarist Marcus Siepen has posted the following message via the group's official web site at www.blind-guardian-com:
“Hi everybody, time to work is here again.
“After a short break for Christmas, we had to get all of our live gear out of the Twilight Hall Studio so RAGE could start with the recordings of their new album. While they are producing, we will rehearse for our upcoming tour in a tiny (and I mean 'tiny'...) little rehearsal room and 'relearn' everything we have forgotten over the last years. The most important thing we learned during our first rehearsal was the fact that you definitely need earplugs when you play in a 16 m2 big (or small) room together with [drummer] Thomen. We also found out that you can forget a lot of parts in just a couple of years... I'm glad we still have some time before the tour starts. Right now, André and Hansi are in Japan doing some promotion, and Thomen and I are dealing with stuff like the design for the tour posters, but as soon as the others return we can continue rehearsing and, what will be even more difficult, try to find out what songs we should play live...we'll see what happens.”
